I recently try to upgrade LinkSys wrt54g2 firmware but it shows an error message "Cannot resolve host address". There is no problem with my connection, i have downloaded firmware file but when click on the *.exe, it gives error.

Make sure you are connected to the Internet. If you are not connected to the Internet, you will need to connect before you can connect to any FTP sites. If there is np problem with connection teen try to reset the router to default.then try upgrading wrt54g2 firmware .

Follow this method to upgarde wrt54g2 firmware : Open a web browser (internet explorer) on the computer.In the address bar of the internet explorer, type 192.168.1.2 Click Login in the upper right-hand corner of the page. After login click on submit button. Click on System Settings and you will see the "Auto Update Firmware Enabling" option in the left site on the screen. Select Enable by clicking the radial button and then click "Apply Changes" at the bottom of the screen.

- At the command prompt, type ipconfig /flushdns, and then press ENTER. You receive the following message:
- Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.
- Type exit, and then press ENTER to close the command prompt.
