    mitrodermo.com virus

I think that my pc is hit by a virus am afraid cause I am always getting a message from the microsoft to update my antivirus software although I am not able to update it through the usual update methods from the publisher microdermo.com. I have tried different methods for malware removal like malwarebytes, ccleaner, spybot, etc; but it wont run at all. Whats the problem lying behind this? Please help

I had this problem and I was infected by a GameGuard Service NProtect infection which is an online games. All my passwords were compromised. If you perform any online banking stuff with this system, please contact your bank and change your IDs and passwords.

    <Start/Run> Type in CMD (enter)
At the black window prompt, type the following:

    sc stop npggsvc (Enter)
    sc delete npggsvc (Enter)
    exit (Enter)

Close all programs leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following, making sure you get them all and not any others by mistake:

    O23 - Service: NProtect GameGuard Service (npggsvc) - Unknown owner - C: \ WINDOWS \ system32 \ GameMon.des.exe (file missing)

Click on Fix Checked when finished and exit HijackThis.

You would want to create an OTL Reportfor this issue
    1. Please download OTL from here
    2. Save it to your desktop.
    3. Double click on the icon on your desktop.
    4. Click the "Scan All Users" checkbox.
    5. Push the "Run Scan" button.
    6. The scan should take just a few minutes.
    7. Copy the log that opens up and paste it back here in your next reply.
