“Connection Interrupted” message at certain website

I am using Firefox browser and since the last week or so I am getting a constant error message if I am trying to open certain websites:

    “Connection Interrupted
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please try again.”

I have reinstalled Firefox but that doesnt helped me alot. Can anyone tell me what should I do? Thank you

Have you tried to update your firefox to the latest version. I have found that this problem is on most internet browsers. The fix is what fixed it for me, this maybe not the same for you, if you are using vista, firefox and AGV

Did you had any virus problems lately? Have you tried resetting your networking software and see if that helps?

Follow the steps given below for Repairing the Winsock and TCP stack on XP:
    1) Right click on a network connection status icon in the system tool tray and select Open Network Connections.

If you are using the default category view for the Control Panel, you can:

    2) Open the Control Panel and select Network and Internet Connections. Then select Network Connections.

If are using the classic view for the Control Panel, the steps are:
    3) Open the Control Panel and select Network Connections.

    More information here.
