Resetting Belkin Wireless Pre-N Router

I want to reset my Belkin Wireless Pre-N router but everytime I press the reset button, it is nearly comes out through the front of the router. Although it was working perfectly before but nothing is functional. I am unable to find the appropriate problem. Can anyone tell me how to reset Belkin Wireless Pre-N router?

To reset the Belkin Pre-N Router, unplug the router, press and hold the reset button while plugging the power back in. Release the reset button. This will bring your router to the factory defaults settings. If this is not possible then login to the web utility and reset it.

1. Type your router's IP address in the address of web browser.
2. Go to Utilities
3. Go to Restoring Factory Default Settings
4. Click the “Restore Defaults” button.
5. A message will appear asking for your confirmation, click “OK”.
6. Another message will appear informing you not to turn off the router, click “OK”.
7. After 60 second, the router’s defaults page will be restored. If it does not, then type in the router’s address "192.168.2.1".

I think you should contact Belkin for assistance. They can guide you throughout the procedure. They might even repair your router's reset button because you might need it in future.
