Why can't I see my Belkin F5D8230-4 router

I'm using a Belkin F5D8230-4 Router. Everything was working properly before I formatted my computer this Wednesday. But now, after formatting my hard drive and reinstalling Windows Vista on my computer I am unable to get router working. I have tried checking all the connections and the drivers of my wireless card but everything seems to be proper. Then why can't I see my Belkin F5D8230-4 router? What should I do to get it back?

Did you set-up your wireless connection? Check it if unsure. Connect a CAT5 cable from your computer to router's LAN port. Now go to command prompt and type "ipconfig/release". Then type "ipconfig/renew". If you can see the router's IP address on the Default Gateway then everything is proper; but if not then you need to configure your router.

Use Belkin's Install Software and follow the set-up wizard to install your Belkin F5D8230-4 wireless router. One important point here is that digitally signed drivers are required for Windows Vista 64 bit OS but not the 32 bit. Please reconfirm your OS and download compatible drivers from Belkin web site.

First of all go to 'Device Manager' and see if there is any IRQ conflict error found. Next make sure device configuration and Windows firewall is not blocking access. If everything seems to be OK then uninstall and reinstall your wireless card. Can you see the wireless signal on your computer and what about its strength?
