How do you tell that your PC has a Virus?

    Hi,

How do you tell that your PC has a Virus? I really want to know that on what basis you guys can tell that "hey your PC has a Virus". What are the symptoms that makes you sure that the PC is infected by a virus.

It will be great to know the way you diagnose a PC.
    Thanks in advance.

Here are some signs that your system could be infected:
    Run consistently slower than normal.
Stops responding or locks up often.
    System crash in minutes.
The applications do not work properly.
The disks or the disk drive inaccessible.
The pressure does not work correctly.
    You see unusual error messages.
You see distorted menus and dialog boxes.

You can look for this kind of things in your PC.

    Disk Space Reduction
The space reduces suddenly without any reason - Its because many viruses to multiple copies of itself lead whenever the disc is entered. These copies are usually made by the virus code to already existing programs to your system. This increases the file size of the newly infected file and reduces the amount of space on your drive even though you did nothing.

    Directory Structure Damage
Your directory structure gets destroyed by viruses. You can not see the contents of the Directories. Incorrect files get displayed on screen.

    Improper Disk Function
Some viruses, when in memory, watch all disk activity and lead the system to the disk at an inappropriate, unwanted and harmful way to have access. This can often by increased disk activity (for example, your disk is always active), slower open and times out, and generally slow disk performance savings.

Sometimes you can 't know if you have a virus. In the last 2 days, within a secure computer system called in someone for the first time my computer in my life. The suspicious thing is that I don't have any sibling or anyone else use this laptop / PC, I never click links or images properly label those of my friends on msn offered to install the games that I've just bought and laptop that I got was only 3 days. But this chopper within a secure computer system called me by msn. It happens. Don 't talk to people you don' t know about it. Virus? The usual material, your computer slows down, you can 't do things that you used to do, etc.
