Looking for network optimizer

I am using Hathway connection. I want to use some network optimizer on my computer in order to stop any holes on my connection. I am using unlimited connection but I am not getting internet all the time and many a times the speed is worst. So I am in search of some software which will monitor all the network and report me what and where the problem is lying. Do you know any such software?
