All lights are on except internet on speedstream modem

Hello there,
I have DSL broadband connection with speedstream modem. It is connected to my windows XP desktop computer. It was working fine. But now all the lights are on except the internet one. I can connect the modem but cannot access any webpage. Any suggestions?

Reset your modem by following steps:

• Turn off the modem and other devices and your systems
• Wait for 10-20 seconds
• Turn on the system
• The turn on your modem
• Plug the DSL filter properly into the phone jack
• Then plug the other end of the DSL cable properly into the DSL port of modem
• Check the connection

When the lights are green, it is the indicator that of the process is working properly. It turns orange or green on failure of connecting internet. So you are disconnected with the internet. Contact your internet service provider or check the connections and setup properly.

If you have connected a telephone surge protector to the modem then it may cause this problem. Also check your IP address and troubleshoot your computer and network settings if necessary. If you still get the same problem, then your modem is faulty. Something is wrong with the modem. Replace the modem or contact service center.
