AVG email scanner not working

HI,
I am using AVG antivirus. When i installed avg, email scanner was working properly and checking every email. But now when i start my computer it stays off and i need to activate it again and again. How to deal with it? Any idea?

Which version of AVG are you using? If you are using any earlier version, then upgrade to latest version. So Download AVG Anti-Virus Free 8.0.176a1399. and install it. Also chekc following threads:

Also check the latest plugins on avg websites. Download and install the same. Try following:

• Open Avg Control Center
• On top right click on e-mail scanner
• Then click Properties
• Go to Plugins tab
• Click configure
• Check all the box under it

You need to add it on your email server. It creates problem at the time of installation. Try this:

1. Open Control Panel
2. Go to E-mail scanner
3. Click properties
4. Go to server tab
5. Detect or add your server
