How to set up wireless with arris modem

Hi,
I have wireless router and i want to connect my arris modem to that wireless router. I am using high speed internet connection and want to set up small network using wireless router. My router is working fine. But i cannot figure it out to setup connection through it. Can someone help?

You must change the security setting of your router. Make sure that your computer is connected to the router. Use the router setup page for setting up the modem with the router. Set the same security settings for your network as you connect it with the modem.

You may need to ask your service provider for another modem to configure it with the wireless router. Arris wireless modem features two lines of telephony, a bridged USB and Ethernet interface. Go through this thread on Download Arris tm502g User Manual , Drivers.

First of all power down the wireless router adn your computers. Then hold the reset button of arris modem for 30 seconds with power on for modem. Wait for few minute and restart the router and let the modem and router sync with each other. Contact your ISP for more technical support to configure it properly.
