Change MTU settings linksys

Hi,
I have linksys router. While playing the game my connection failed to MTU test. I want to change the MTU settings. But i don't have any idea about it. Can someone help?

You don't need to change any settings for the router. It is something to do with Xbox live. Microsoft is in process to take backup of Xbox live. So it will start working as before in few hours.

The UPnP implementation on the Linksys WRT54g with firmware 2.02.7 has been discovered to prevent users from being able to connect to Xbox Live. If a user is unable to connect to Xbox Live with this specific router model/firmware, they may get connected by turning off UPnP in the router's settings. Microsoft is working hard with Linksys to repair this issue as soon as possible.

You need to download latest firmware for your router from linksys website. To change the MTU settings follow these steps:

• Open your browser
• Enter your router’s IP address in Address Bar
• Type admin in password field and leave username blank
• Press OK or Enter
• Click on the Advanced tab
• Select the Filters tab

At the bottom of that page, you will get MTU. Make the proper changes and click apply.
