Computer slow uploading files ftp

My friend has created on his pc a ftp server so I can take files sized home. Unfortunately, even with adsl (we all have this connection 2), it is not taking off more than 14 Kb / second, while we could easily multiply that number by 20. This problem occurs even with Download Accelerator Plus.

Can anyone provide me solution ?

This is not a problem is related to the type of subscription 512k for a line on a 128 upload is 14-16 KB / sec, if you have money you can take a line. in any case there is no problem, it is physically and the line is limited.

ADSL unlike PSTN or ISDN, has a big disadvantage not to be symmetric in flux.
This means that even if you can download stuff to 400KB / s (which seems a lot for ADSL) on a server connected with a dedicated line, this does not mean that your friend would probably peter more 15kb / s upload.

FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is a communications protocol for the exchange of computer files on a TCP / IP.
You need an FTP passive mode. After starting this program, you should first establish a connection with the following coordinates:

Host: ftpupload.pixum.com
Idendifiant: E-mail
Password: Your code loading
(on site Pixum under: My Account> My Details)

Then select the image files and download them onto our server.
