Want to replace the antenna of a linksys router

I know there is a way to replace the antenna for the modem router linksys WAG54G in order to gain a bit of power (in the legal limit). Linksys now offers replacement antennas (model HGA7T) for the router. Would these be a good idea to try to boost the strength?

I will not recommend the usb for the network, if you have a fixed takes a PCI network card and if you have a laptop PCMCIA network card. USB is not as stable. PCI is much more stable.

The high gain antenna of the portable USB Adapter Wireless-G will put your computer at any point of a building while removing the cost and inconvenience of installing cables. Now you no longer need to drill holes in the walls, up to the attic or down to the basement to connect to the network.
