Router connects all parts of the network as the middle link of chain system. If you want a single computer to access printer, you can set wireless printer with one computer. For that you don't need a router. Check out these threads for more help:

If you have any computer with wireless settings, then you can set connection over that printer. It won't connect to the printer automatically. You need to go through the settings for that. Go through this thread on How to connect wireless printer to laptop for settings. You can setup a computer by the printer and share that printer with your network.

Re: Do i need a router for a wireless printer

You need a wireless router to share the printer on network. You can put all your computer on the same wireless network by replacing the wired router. Follow the steps below to connect the wireless router to printer:
  • Install and configure the wireless router
  • Plug the printer into the wireless router
  • Click on Start
  • Go to Control Panel
  • Click on Printers and Faxes
  • Right click on the shared printer
  • Select sharing
  • Check the "Share This Printer" box
  • Click OK
