Westell modem red internet light

Hi people,
I am using Westell 6100 modem with verizon internet connection. It was working fine before but now it started creating problems. I am getting red light on internet connection but the other lights are green and stays solid. Can anyone help?

Unplug your modem for a minute and then plug it back as it is. The light will tur green. If it doesn't, then it must be something wrong with your internet service provider's server. Call your service provider and ask for help.

Verizon experienced a massive problem with Westell modem. YOu must call verizon technical support. they will try to troubleshoot your problem. You can get the modem replaced with the new one within 24 to 48 hours.

Try to reinstall the drivers. You can check with the different modem. If you are facing the same problem, there must be a problem at your internet service provider's end. It may be possible that some maintenance work is going on and that's why you are experiencing such issue.
