How can i extend wifi range for my laptop

I am getting wifi signal from my frineds house but that signal is not much good. some time internet disconnected while surfing because of weak signal. i want to know how to increase Extend The Range Of A Wi-Fi Enabled Laptop ?

That means you are using free internet form your friend home. Hmmmmmmmmm nice one... why my friends not using wireless router without any password and login..

If you want to Install an external Wi-Fi antenna on the laptop. i think most of the laptop support add-on antennas. This will increase your wifi laptop wifi range.

If you would like to modify your laptop to use your existing internal WiFi adapter card you will need to extend out of your case to an antenna. You will need:

• to open your laptop case and locate your internal WiFi card
