| Re: Network did not assign a network address
The computer shows network did not assign network address if it is not getting an IP address from the router's DHCP. You need to configure router or give correct ip addrees to your computer. A computer with a static IP that fits the network you want to access. |

| Re: Network did not assign a network address
Upgraded the drivers on your wireless NIC. If it didn't solve the problem then check the setting in router. Go into the configuration screen of the router and look for the "DHCP" option. The router needs to be running a DHCP server in order to assign an IP address to the computer when it connects. When you connect another computer you might find that there are different DHCP settings depending on whether the client device is connecting via an ethernet cable or wirelessly. |
