Assigning IP address depends upon what type of internet service you have. Each connecting computer is assigned an ip address based upon the type of service, their location (geographical) have had, and what available IP address in the local pool available. Isp can only assign IP addresses that they were hired.To configure it to your router,if your computer is connected directly to the internet, meaning it's not behind a router or a firewall than go to Control Panel, Network Connections, find the network connection that represents your connection to the internet. |
