    Re: Installing Malwarebytes'Anti Malware 1.39

This error is caused by a known bug in the Microsoft C++ compiler for .NET version 1.0.Assemblies produced with this compiler do not properly handle the AppDomainUnload event. Essentially, when the AppDomain is reloaded, the unmanaged code still holds on to a reference to the previous AppDomain, and when calls are made into the unmanaged code, it fails since the AppDomain it is referencing is out of date. The AppDomain is reloaded whenever the app has to be jitted.

    1. While running the 1.0 version of the framework, upgrade to package version 4.02 of FileUp (DLL version 4.0.2.0). Microsoft's recommended work-around has been implemented in this version of FileUp. Uninstall your current version of FileUp and upgrade to 4.02+.

    Re: Installing Malwarebytes'Anti Malware 1.39

This problem may occur when you use the /GR and the /MD compiler switches, and the version of the Msvcrt.dll file and of the Msvcirt.dll file is 7.0.x.

Note This problem does not occur when you use a version of the Msvcrt.dll file and of the Msvcirt.dll file that is earlier than 7.0.

You probably uses IE, I had the same problem I resolved by resetting IE.

It is a standard message in some cases, returned to the user by the system or the executor of an application, when the number of attempts exceeds the Action deadline. Page IE hangs and refuses to open.

Panel, internet options, advanced tab, reset the settings of the Internet by default.

If you have been having the "C++ runtime-error" crashes with 1.39, download a hotfix version of mbam.exe from here:
    http://www.malwarebytes.org/~marcin/mbam.exe

Drop this version into the C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware directory, and overwrite the previous copy of mbam.exe.
