Hi,

I would suggest you to go for.
1. Belkin Wireless Pre-N router
2. D-Link DI-624 AirPlus Xtreme G router
3. Linksys WRT54GX
4. Netgear WGT624 108Mbps wireless firewall router
I prefer Linksys brand wise but Netgear is also a good product. Wireless routers that utilize MIMO or N (not Draft N) technology have the longest range.
Choose anyone from these routers.
I want to ask a question on that note about the N or MIMO technology.
What I want to ask is about the penetration through wall by MIMO technology. Actually My current router is Netgear WGR614CN & i cant get a connection more than 5% on the other side of the wall. I am looking for a router that will give me a good speed & can cover a long distance.
I would say First try to get a wireless signal enhancer. I use a netgear router & a signal enhancer which enables me to get a nice signal strength. You can search for wireless signal enhancer over the net & you will end up finding a nice one for your router & your problem will also get solved why you want to purchase a new one? You wont get coverage for general wi-fi clients over that range with a single access point. Wifi is basically line of sight. If you can see it, it will work type of thing.
