| Failed to bring up eth0 in Ubuntu Virtual Machine
I am running Ubuntu virtual machine in my network of 10 computer, The problem is i can't able to connect network after modifing some group policy and some hardware changes. It shows error message "eth0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device". |

Can you ping your gateway? Can you ping another computer by ip address?Do you have a link light on your NIC/hub/switch? Did you try using the MEPIS System Center to start eth0 after configuring it for DHCP? If no then open a terminal window and type sudo ifconfig eth0 up,sudo dhclient eth0 command. |

If you have two interfaces (eth0 and eth1) for same ip address then run the following command, it will edit the interfaces file. After that change your eth0 to eth1. Quote:
