| How to remove unwanted virus alerts in system tray
I have been having this Virus Alert! problem that appeared in my System tray flashing under windows xp. However, there still remain a few problems, one of which is a message that says Virus Alert in my system tray. My spybot and Adware cannot find the file. How can I remove this item from my taskbar and delete it for good? |

Your system is infected with a rogue antivirus program. Try going into safe mode and destroying it with AVG 7.5. If AVG doesn't pick it up then try going to safe mode and try disabling it there by ending the process of it and try manually search and destroy it. Does the system show Virus Alert! in the system tray at the clock ? |
