What is your router model and Log-in to your router with your browser and see what firmware it has. At what time do you get the script error? Uninstall and reinstall the firmware again.
I have linksys model is wrt54g and firmware 3.0, when I tried to install the new firmware 3.0 and it stated that an older version was installed, so I have to uninstall it first. But when I tried to uninstall the previous from Add/Remove Pgms that failed stating that it couldn't find 'Linksys'.
I am having the same problem as well. I have the WRT100. If your network doesn't support it, this only results in wasted time, remove your linksys router from the system, disconnect it from the network and then again try or manually deleted it from Pgm files and clean up the references in the registry.
