    LuComServer_3_4.exe use lots memory

    Hello
    I understand it is problem with my Symantec/Live Update LuComServer_3_4.exe. I want to disable live update? I would rather manually update,since it is using hell memory am also in search of another antivirus/firewall application due to this. Does anyone have any good recommendations all i need is that i won't use more memory for it's operation

    You can possibly update your norton manually rather than automatic updates download the Intelligent Updater and manually update the database. remember to download the application which is compatible with your operating system

    You know any good anti virus software will up date it's definitions automatically,and obviously will exhaust consider amount of memory for this kind of process, aware of this. Me using kaspersky,i turned it off the automatic update and prefer to do manually,its true that kaspersky is rather better than norton in case of memory usage

    why can't you disable Automatic LiveUpdate to get rid of LuComServer_3_4.exe consuming the memory and collect the updates manually from internet and install it,so that way you can soar the efficacy of the application
