| Can't get default gateway
Please i need help here, I can't find my default gateway?, as i'm trying the "ipconfig/all " command , its says now default gateway. and ipconfig command It gives an IP address and DNS servers but no gateway. i can not access and internet and messenger applications. how to resolve this issue? please help |

If you are in LAN then your default gateway should be 192.168.1.1 , manually configure it. |

Are you using windows xp? If you can go online without Router, it has everything to do with the router settings. Try connecting the computer directly the modem without router in between. like this: ISP -> cable-> MODEM-> cable>COMPUTER Just reset the router settings and see what happens. You will have a small reset button on the back of the router or on the sides. |

Start-> connect to -> show all connections -> Right click local area connections -> Click properties -> Highlight Internet Protocol TCP/IP Click properties . Verify Obtain IP address auomatically is check and Obtain DNS address automatially is checked . And if it doesn't helps then Right click local area connections choose Repair. |
