Get rid of Google search redirect virus

Hello every one

I'm confused of being some virus attacked my machine recently,which makes google to redirect as well as not allowing me to watch some video clips on certain sites they tells that my system have Trojan-Rustok or some virus of that sort. I'm fed off with "VIMAX PILLS' ads every site that I'm visiting

Can someone please help me with this.

Ok..am curious to get your log files do you have HijackThis application with you, if not collect the application and install it, it aides you to evaluate presence of any spyware/malware on your machine.run the setup files

Are you having a good anti virus software.i think it is because of you do not have a anti virus..and make your computer to vulnerable to all unwanted programs,so all you need to do download good internet security software i advise you download kaspersky and update the database..then do a full system scan..

Turn on your computer in SAFE MODE while disconnected from the internet and run a Full Scan,if face any problem with this, install and update the FREE version of Malwarebytes.
reboot the computer in SAFE MODE and run a complete Malwarebytes scan. If items are found, follow the Malwarebytes suggested procedure. run the Malwarebytes scan a few times to make sure your system stability

You can also try Delete your System Restore Points by turning off System Restore.since Many infections will become embedded in your previous restore points Restart the computer in Normal Mode and check how things are working.

yes you have some suspicious files like SSRC.EXE.It enabled as a COM Object/Server which created and run as a process on disk. it also work as new Background Service and relate to Virtual Memory space by other programs. i dont know it is maleware virus but look like Rootkit see here for solution Rootkits danger and prevention . scan pc with updated antivirus like bit defender or ca internet security i think online scan can be good option..

Since you have already tried implementing different Anti-virus programs and still you are facing the problem of - URLs being rediected, I think this is really critical issue. You need to close or end all the unwanted .exe files from your computer from the Task Manager.....kindly do this !!

If you face the problem again after doing all this, take the backup of your impotant data from the computer and Format your PC

Thanks for your help. I ran ComboFix and it got rid of my redirects. Don't Spend money on stopzilla or spywaredoctor like I did. Just use ComboFix following the instructions and then malwarebytes. Both Free.

Bad news! Both my son and myself have had this virus for a couple of years. Nothing works, or if it does it's only a temporary fix. Only thing I thought to do was use internet explorer and manually ban each and every web site you are redirected to through the original settings. We work with it now i.e. watch the address bar redirect and close it as soon as it starts then click the original search result again. This is a pain but it always works. Also, dare I suggest you clean out your history and cookie files on a regular basis as this will not stop it happening but it helps with the access to your internet connection by ad servers, xxx sites etc.
