    How to find open ports in cmd

    I am given some ports from my service provider to check weather their status are shown open... I don't know how to check/find open ports in cmd??? Can anyone Help??? I am using Windows XP...!

    Follow the following steps to see the Open ports list :

    1. Go to Start Menu & open RUN.

    2. In RUN write "cmd" & press Enter.

    3. After Opening Command Prompt type "netstat -an" & press Enter

    4. & then it will show you all the listing of ports...!

    I think you need to netsh firewall add port opening type number name & enable the subnet...! See if this helps you...!
