| How to plug router to switch ?
I have to plug my PC to a router then a router to a switch where another computer can be plugged in, and then that switch plugged to a modem. Will I be able to still access the internet, setup a home network on both computers. Well, I know how to plug PC with the router, can anyone suggest how can I plug router to a switch ? thanks... |

Yes, you can connect your router to a switch. It is possible to do that. I had a similar setup with router and computer with 2 network printers on a switch and two other PCs. But make sure that your router and switch are compatble with each other. You may have Belkin router to be connected to Netgear switch. |

One of the ways is to connect a wireless router to the broadband modem, and connect the switch to one of the ports on the router. You can have the ports you need and wireless access as well. Modem >>> Router >>> Switch |

to connect switch to the router : Simply plug the switch into one of the router's LAN ports, and leave the WAN port open so that you can access internet. |
