What is ts remoteapp

I have a question. I am learning Terminal Server and i have question in mind, What is ts remoteapp? Why do we need it? What are the advantages of it? Can anyone help me with the information?? Thanks...

remote app is a way to access any application from a remote location. This feature is provided on a ts that is Terminal Server, hence the application is known as ts remoteapp.

Well, it is slower. The only disadvantage it has. It is not recommended just because it is slow. But it is useful, Consider some scenario like, office branch, Some application like accounting that need to be done on every branch but only once a month, all branches can connect to the central head office and do the accounts...
