Remove Trojan Horse Downloader

My AVG anti virus program indicated i have a virus Trojan Horse Downloader.Small.18ah File name they give is ibis.exe

i located the path and deleted C:\windows\Temp\ibis.exe,but to no avail it's still sticking around there even if i deleted ...tried many times.at last and Now had downloaded a spyware program it was a free one can i remove
the virus by that......

any thoughts??

All right let me know..which AVG are you using,,if it is free edition i think even if you update the data base you can't get rid of the trojan..it is more power full..some times you can delete it if you are with Premium AVG but remember to update the database...

I installed ewido software and I even found two extra trojan horses which is failed to indicate by AVG
One of them was dumping my internet security settings and made it ease to download the other trojans.

Thus, I removed these additional trojans and set the internet security setting to high level, now it's working pretty fine,Now my computer is free of all trojans

Well...i dunno much about the spy ware,but many of my friends dumped their AVG to garbage since it's failed to detect also delete the advanced viruses .. i will tell you get the kaspersky internet security after completely un installing the current one..and update it's data base..it is a really a superb one...and your machine will say good bye to trojan for ever..
