    P2P-worm.win32.logpole.c

I am running Windows XP on my HP Compaq computer. I am using AVG on my computer. I recently noted a strange Trojan on my computer which is detected by AVG. It is "P2P-worm.win32.logpole.c" and it also said that it is unable to remove it and I need to provide the action to delete the virus. What is that? Without thinking much about it I ordered to delete it but still AVG is unable to delete. Is it really a virus/Trojan or some useful system file which AVG is unable to delete? Please help!

You can even quarantine it if AVG is unable to remove. Once it is in quarantine section, the worm can not affect your computer or multiply itself. This kind of worms gets installed on your computer if you visit P2P sharing sites frequently. It is recommended to use a good antivirus if you want to visit such sites or avoid downloading stuffs if you don't trust the data you are downloading.
