Combofix won't run on Windows Vista

I had installed Windows Vista on my pc. Recently i had downloaded ComboFix program from the internet. After downloading ComboFix program on my pc, i'm not able to run it on my system. I tried out everything on my pc, in order to run ComboFix on my pc, but i couldn't succeed. So can nay body tell me that why i'm not able to run ComboFix on my pc? Does any body knows why ComboFix won't run on my pc? Kindly provide me the correct solution to get rid of the above issue.

For that you need to go to your Start Menu and then click on Run, then you need to type in: %systemdrive%\SDFix\apps\FixPath.exe /Q Then you need to reboot your system and then need to run SDFix in a safe mode.

I think you should turn off your system restore. Try to turn off only when your pc becomes normal. Don't try any thing unless your system works works fine.

Try to download the Recovery Console package on your system. Then you need to drag the setup package onto ComboFix.exe and drop it over there. Then you need to follow the prompts, in order to start ComboFix on your system. Now, ComboFix will now automatically install the Windows Recovery Console onto your computer, which will show up as a new option when booting up your computer.
