AVG detects filefixpro.com virus in my computer

AVG antivirus detects a threat on my computer. The virus is shown as filefixpro.com virus. How do i delete this virus? Any help. I am noob when it comes to computers...

You have AVG Antivirus which detected the virus. Doesn't it delete the file or take some action like cleaning or quarantine it? If AVG is unable to do it, then update AVG and try that again. AVG is a great free antivirus for home users, co-operate with it and update it, and it will wipe the virus from your computer. All the best!

I tried everything with AVG that i could possible do, even updated it but the virus is not removed. Once AVG will detect it, it will clean it for the time being. Once the computer restarts, the virus warning will come up by AVG and its the same file and same location everytime. Any possible way to remove it?

If the virus keeps coming abck, did you try to remove it manually? Go to the location where there file exists and delete it manually, if the process is running it will not be deleted, so first terminate the process from task manager and then delete the file. If still no luck, scan and delete the file from safe-mode.
