Microsoft outlook connection error

dear all,


please help me, my ms. outlook connection is error when i plug the cable of LAN to my notebook, this problem rise when i connect my modem (sierra 881u) to my laptop....i using windows XP sp3. i am looking forward from you soon....

What error are you getting ? Use Microsoft Office Outlook Connector 12.1.

Start Outlook in safe mode then try to connect :

Windows Vista Click Start.
Type outlook.exe /safe in the Start Search box.
Press Enter.Click Start.
Type outlook.exe /safe in the Start Search box.
Press Enter.

Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, or Windows 2000Click Start.
Click Run.
Type outlook.exe /safe.
Click OK.

Try disabling Firewall and to do so follow these steps:

1. Go the Control Panel (Start > Control Panel)
2. Open Network Connection
3. Right click on the internet connection you’re using (LAN, or Wireless, or GreenNet Dial-up)
4. From the menu select ‘Properties’
5. Go to the ‘Security’ tab, and switch off the Firewall.

After the previous version, connecting to Calendars on Windows Live had some problems, which was fixed with version 12.1.I can access my mail and calendar via web browser, and I can also successfully sync my mail using Windows Live Mail.
