How to access Windows Vista local settings file

I'm using Windows Vista as my operating system. I would liek to know that how do i access Windows Vista local settings file on my pc. Can any body tell me that how can i do so? Does any body knows about it? Kindly provide me the correct logical solution for the above issue. Any kind of information on the above issue would be appreciated.

First of all try to disable UAC on your system. For doing so just go to the Control Panel and then select User Accounts and select Turn User Account Control On or Off on your system. It will help your to disable UAC on your system.

You can try to access Windows Vista local settings file only if you are having permissions and rights with you to access that particular file. With out having permission to acces you can't access Windows Vista local settings file on the network.

You can sse that file normally in the Local Settings folder on your system. You can also see it under your program files in the C:\Users\your name\AppData\Local folder. These foldrs are hidden one by default , so in order to access them you need to click on the Organize/Folder and then search for options/View Tab. And then you just need to select 'Show hidden files and folders' option and then click on Apply and then finally click on Ok tab.
