How to remove 3d groove playback engine

Hello, I wanted to know a way on how to remove 3D Groove Playback Engine. If I try to uninstall it from the control panel with the add and remove programs section this program doesnt seems to get deleted? Whenever I try to remove it manually I get an error message: "Error Loading C:\Windows\downlo~1\grooveAx.dll", "The specified module could not be found". So, from where I can locate this file and delete it, can anyone help me out. Thank you

Can you uninstall that 3DGroove Playback engine? If so, uninstall it.
Then look if next folder is present in your program files and delete it:
TheGrooveAlliance

I would run a full scan on your ad-aware and also your spybot s&d and see if they detect anything.

May, I also ask, did you happen to see something called, Kazaa? If this is in the add/remove section remove it first, then remove the 3D Groove...but if not then remove 3D Groove.....

If this is just a shockwave file then it won't show in Add/Remove, and all you need to do is delete the file. Send it to the Recycle Bin first just to make sure that nothing complains. And any app that's just a standalone app (ie one that didn't actually need installing) also won't show up in Add/Remove. To get rid of those you simply delete the .exe file.
