Connect Netgear WGT624 router to XBOX Line

I have XBox Live and i want to connect it to NetGear WGT624 router that i use for home networking to access via wifi. But the NAT status shows as strict. How do i change the NAT ststus to open!? Help! I cannot connect to the router...

Open the router configuration and go to port forwarding options and forward UDP Port 3074 and 88 and TCP port 3074. Now reboot the router and you must be able to connect to the router...

Hey thanks for the reply. That was very quick! But still shows strict and i cannot use the wifi to connect to the router. Is there anything i missed? I added TCP ports and UDP Ports specified by you to forward. But it doesn't help... Thanks!

Two options you can use :
1. Configure DHCP on your router and let the XBox Live get an ip automatically and you wifi connection will work.

2. Give static IP to your XBox Live and forward those port mentioned above for the IP that you have given to the XBox Live.
