Showing invalid key while installing McAfee Internet Security 2009

Recently i was trying to install McAfee Internet Security 2009 on my system. When i was trying to install, it ask me to enter the key code on my system, but after entering the key code on my system it shows me an error message stating that the above key code seems to be invalid. I'm trying to enter the same key code which i got at the time of purchasing McAfee Internet Security 2009. Can any body tell me that why doesn't my pc accept that particular key code on it? Why i'm unable to install McAfee Internet Security 2009 on my system? Does any body knows about this issue? Kindly help me out to resolve the above issue.

Check out whether you trying to enter the same key code as mention on your cd. Enter the same key code as mention on the cd, with the same alphabets and numbers mention on your cd.

Also you need get connected to the internet first, before you enter the key code of McAfee Internet Security 2009 on your system. It may be that you might not be connected to the internet and therefore facing the above issue while installing McAfee Internet Security 2009 on your system
