I have a smartphone (PDA + phone gprs), which can synchronize with my
exchange server (all my other smartphone syncs without problem)

I have the following message on my exchange server:

HTTP status code: [500]. Check the mailbox server Exchange is working properly. On the smartphone, the error code is: 85010014

I found nothing on the net for this error

the user does nothing special and the box either.

Try this:

- Open the webmail and authenticate the user's account with you ... (http:// <Exchange Server> / Exchange /)
- Then press Ctrl + O in IE
- Type the url http:// <Exchange Server> / Exchange / <under utilization> / NON_IPM_SUBTREE, and check "open as web folder"
- Devrarit Explorer windows open on that directory ...
- Find a directory "Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync" ... no? That is the problem! initialization failed place!
- Create the directory "Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync"
- Open this folder
- Now create a subdirectory "PocketPC"
- Close all ...

The PDA may have been initialized on another mailbox ... use the "Microsoft Mobile Admin" and do a "Wipe" and "delete" to delete this bad partnership in the wrong box .

A hard-reset the PDA will be surely welcome

I was getting the same error, I resolved this problem. What I did was :right click on the virtual directory and click properties, then uncheck "Enable anonymous access" in Authentification method, synchronize your PPC.
