Slow Data Transfer on Ethernet

I am using Vista OS on my computer's from last year. But in a due course of time i having a problem with data transfer between my PC's. It take a large amount of time to transfer data. Is there a problem with OS or the hardware.

Just change the Setting from Auto to Full Duplex 100 MB. And then try to transfer you data one more time.

Hi,
The cause of your slow data transfer is Remote Differential Compression feature of window's vista.

Follow the mentioned procedure & get rid of these issue :

First click on Start - Control Panel - Programs and then Features

Click on ‘Turn windows features on or off’ ( Located on the left of screen )

Unchecked ‘Remote Differential Compression’ Box.

I was too having the same problem. I had just reinstalled & updated my Ethernet Drivers. You can just go on & try the same.
