Can anyone hack my password if i use dollar sign ($)?

Hello friends,
My friend told me that if i use dollar sign in my password, anyone can hack it easily. Is there any possibility of hacking? Anybody have any idea?

I don't think anyone can hack your password if you just add any sign to it. It is more secure than using only characters. You account protected by your mail or any service provider.

Most accounts on a computer system usually have some method of restricting access to that account, usually in the form of a password. When accessing the system, the user has to present a valid ID to use the system, followed by a password to use the account. Most systems either do not echo the password back on the screen as it is typed, or they print an asterisk in place of the real character. So don't worry about your password. Nobody can hack your password, until there is a security breach.

There are certain sites which provide password hacking services but it is paid not free. Putting any sign in your password don't give any clue or something to hackers. It is done with difficult process. But just remember the sign you are using in password or you may get in trouble.
