Installing DBT-120 USB Adapter
Note - Do NOT install the DBT-120 USB Adapter into your PC before installing the driver software on the D-Link CD!
- Insert driver CD into CD-Drive. When the autorun screen appears, click INSTALL DRIVERS.
Note: If the Autorun screen does not automatically start, click on Start > Run, enter `D:\Autorun.exe` and click OK. `D` represents the letter of your CDROM drive. Replace it if your CD-ROM drive is a different letter.
- If you are using the downloaded driver: run the Setup of the new driver.
- InstallShield Wizard will appear. Click Next.
- Click YES to the license agreement. Click Next.
- Type a name for this device. Multiple installs must use different names.
- Select Desktop or Laptop. Click Next.
- Select folder destination. Click Next. Click Install.
- Windows 2000 and XP users will get an error message regarding the drivers not passing Microsoft Logo testing. Click Yes or Continue Anyway.
Windows 98 and ME users may be asked for the Windows CD. Insert CD into drive. If you receive a Version Conflict error, click YES.- Click Finish. Click Yes if prompted to restart computer.
- Once the computer reboots, insert the DBT-120 into an available USB slot. The drivers will install automatically.
- If prompted for drivers, point to the DBT-120 Driver CD.
- After you've completed the installation, the Bluetooth Configuration Utility will automatically start and the utility icon will appear in the bottom right hand corner of the desktop screen (systray).
If you are using Macintosh 10.2.x , then no need to perform any long steps for installing DBT-120 USB Adapter.
The drivers are completely built-in. you just need to simply plug the adapter into an available USB slot.
I would recommend you to use DBT-120 USB Adapter with D-Link DUB-H7 2.0
D-Link DUB-H7 2.0 is a Hi-Speed USB 2.0 7-port hub that is backward compatible with USB 1.0 and 1.1. It allows connection of up to seven USB peripherals or devices to your USB ready PC or Mac.
