    Static IP change itself

I have a problem with setting up my static IP. Everything works fine, etc. but when I restart the computer it goes back to default settings. Is there a way to prevent this?

If you think the IP address of the computer assigns a local IP you can do it like this.

Control panel -> Network Connections -> Properties for the connection you use -> TCP/IPv4 properties -> and then fill in the fields with the IP you want etc.

Everything works fine as I said. I can learn to set it and everything works as it should, until my computer is restarted then it believes that it should change everything back to "Automatic Download".

    Otherwise thanks for the help

Okay weird. Could it be a conflict arising if the IP you have selected is already included in network? and therefore, just go back to automatic?
