    problem with my wireless connection

Hi everyone!. Today I have a strange condition that I have never happenned this before. My laptop Toshiba can't to connect with internet. When I click 'diagnose and repair', it said that "windows can not found your primary DNS". Then, I tried to type in command prompt " ping 192.168.1.1". It is my router IP. Then, I saw it works well. I don't know what happen with this wireless? Please someone give me this answer. Thanks.

    Hey!
Well as you mentioned the problem might be with the DNS server as pointed out to you by your OS. Well try setting the DNS server in the TCP/IP Configuration... This might help you out...!

Your problem seems to be something else than what is appeared. Can you provide some details of your configuration like IP address, Subnet mask, Gateway, Primary and secondary DNS (everything for both configured on your router/modem and on your computer), router/modem model. This will help me to understand your configuration and analyze if there is setup problem.

Also you are saying that you "can't connect with internet", can you be more specific about your point as in what happens when you try to do the same?

Dear unlimitedtech, My IP address is 192.168.1.10; subnet mask is 255.255.255.0; ipv4 gateway is 192.168.1.1; my DNS is 192.168.1.1. As I say before, I can't to connect internet but just "local" that I get. I have tried to ping my router 192.168.1.1, but it works well but when I ping google.com, It said the request times out. I don't know what happen.

Here is the problem, your DNS and gateway can never be same. You need to reconfirm with your ISP. Ideally DNS should be other than 192.168.x.x.
