i recently got Gateway MT3423 with Windows Vista Home Premium, but I can not seem to get proper settings to make WPA work on vista.Does anyone know what causes this issue and how to fix it?Any help will be extremely appreciated.

I think you will find that WPA/WPA2 Personal is the same as WPA-PSK. PSK stands for Pre Shared Key. The only other alternative is a Key Server which will be WPA Enterprise.
Same thing, different terminology. The User Manual will explain.
Honestly, you should install the software that came with the card and not use the Win XP built in wireless support.
My router is set to WPA or WEP security and i have tried every combination available in the properties, although i have just realised the properties I am changing are for a wireless connection i set up manually whilst trying different things to get it to work (in vein) which appears when i goto "Re-order Wireless networks", whereas the connection that is available in the Connect to window is the one automatically detected with the default name and not the one i gave whilst manually attempting the connection.
I Have no problem connecting with xp on the same machine using the same hardware and never have.
