    Extend WiFi signal

Hello everybody, I would like to know if one of you has ever used a system to extend the wireless signal?

For my part it does not work very well when the signal from the bridge and the signal from the central transmitter (wireless router or modem) is superimposed.

The user moves and thus the signal remains low despite that it is closer to the source opposite to that where it is connected.

Linksys and D-link are the 2 brands that I've been testing and the result is quite disappointing.

    Yes!

You think that this should not be the case?

If it must be on the same channel. I have a DAP 1160 extending my wifi to linksys WRT54G and it works very well. Concern, ping elevated.

I do not know, but the signal is higher than before, so I assume that coverage is better.

I am not sure that is expected to switch from one transmitter to another depending on that being the closest to a snapshot

I see it more as for connecting to the strongest signal, then it would disconnect for switch on the second it is closer.
