Dreambox crash after installing SATA hard drives

    Hello,

I have a problem with my Dreambox, after I make an internal built 2.5-inch dreambox 800 clone It starts with that I have under Settings - System not heading to find this hard to initialize.

Generally, then after about 30 seconds of the crash screen - it was a problem been identified and must reboot. Only from this boot process, it no longer comes out. The image on the TV is off and as it constantly re-boots.

I have to then return the disk to expand the image and play it. Then it goes again. Once I re-install the HD, the errors happen again.
It is a newly purchased Western Digital Scorpio 2.5 Sata HD.Configuration:

    Capacity 320 GB
    Port 1x S-ATA 300
    Plug 7-Pin SATA
    2:50 tariff type
    Speed
    Revolutions 7200 RPM
    16 MB cache
    12:00 ms response time
    Image is 4.1

What could that be? Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

Your disk is clearly takes too much power while its booting, so the system with little or no sensible work / can go.

I think that a panel with less rpm (5400) will solve this problem.

    Hi,

Electricity consumption should be no problem. 2.5 The customs records are already designed for low power because of the notebooks.

Please check again, if everything is clean. above all: you have the sata cable on e-sata port attached and for the internal is connected.

    Hi,

I can not initialize the disk in the dream because no menu item "hard" visible. Under "devices" but it is visible. there can be nothing but recruit.

The disk I have connected, where previously the eSATA cable from the external connection. I can feel and hear how the disk whirs. I have also repeatedly checked the cable to the hd and the board properly "seated".
