I am looking for a software/script that would allow me to disable the Internet for hours on a single fixed. On the net, I have found that log which switch off the PC or run specific software at fixed times. Could you help me?

On the limit, activate a Firewall (using a software that you have found) at fixed times, which would restrict access to the net through filters more demanding
If there knows anything, a simple batch that sets a fixed IP out of range of the router it may be sufficient.
Example :
netsh set interface ip address "thenameofyournetworkinterface" static 192.168.200.100 255.255.255.0
and to restore access to net :
netsh set interface ip address "thenameofyournetworkinterface" dhcp
You do file.bat (with notepad you can do) and then to Control Panel/Scheduled Tasks you create 2 spots, one to remove access to the net, the other to allow again.
In fact can do so just by using the interface of the router/modem.
You can deny and allow each network address on a weekday schedule with time slots. A real thing to avoid fishy things.
Some time ago I was interested in this question cause my son got on the internet the minute he got home and it was interfering with his school work. I found that there are several disabling techniques but I suggest Internet Timer as it's simple, easy to reverse. Furthermore it works with any Internet connection (it blocks not only browsers, but chat programs, e-mails or file downloads). Today I can easily schedule when to stop all child’s on-line activity. Moreover, I turn off MSN, ISQ and other chat programs so that he doesn’t spend all day on them.
Ooops! I didn't write the name of my Internet time limit software: Ez Internet Timer.
