although there are a lot of antivirus website that offer a free scan.
these site just check our computers for infections but do not delete them.

the free antivirus has just the basic protection. what about firewall, registery scanners, email protection? most of the free anti-virus does not provide a complete protection. And they never will. They too are here for bussiness!
