    Recycle a server MSI Wind

I buy a MSI Wind (a NETBOOK) that finally after a few months of use is not strictly anything, apart from taking the dust in a corner.

I wondered if it would be possible to convert to "lean" server. To host a website for example. It would be connected by Ethernet cable to the net.

    So, is it technically possible?

    Thank you in advance.

it depends on what you will do.

Do you need a second NIC?

Re: Recycle a server MSI Wind

I am a novice in terms of server.

As long as it can host a site with MySQL, PHP and two three other nonsense its me. I configure my router.

It is primarily for testing purposes, rather than for reliability. But if I can put a site with traffic of users "low" it would be cool.

But I do not know at what time you need a second network card ...

you need another network card when the first you enough.

Your problem is not that you are a novice, is that you pose too many questions.
